From our recent updates about the new task force committeeset up by Kogi state university which sole duty is to monitor the students way of behaviorand dress code within the university environment, due to this new regulation, students who were deemed not dressed properly were whisked to the security unit of the university for sanctioning.

Several students was picked for different offences such as transparent clothes, weird or tinted hairstyles, ripped (crazy) jeans, long rope sandals, sunshade glasses and many others.

From today's view and proper information gathered from a student who went for night class reading at natural science faculty, two men came in to meet them, one of them and  greeted them good morning the student was like is this man okay?.

This man in particular wearing a black suit with a polo inside said everyone should evacuate the class room he also made a shocking remark saying I have sounded a note of warning to you guys never to read beyond 8pm within the school premises, for this all the students reading as at that time was sent out of the classes to their various abode.

The reason why things turn out this way in the university environment is due to the recent surge in crime rate within the university. it has become a usual news that gunshot are been fired almost every day within and outside the campus, students are almost been robbed on a daily basis coupled with harassment from various groups including external security bodies for a reason best know to them. Due to all these pogroms within and outside the school, the school senate through the security unit has deemed it fit to tackle  indecent dressing and behaviors within the school through the enactment of such committee so as to contribute its own quotas to ensure maximum security within the school and also ensure students  safety outside the campus.
